This: "All these controls might create an illusion of safety without delivering meaningful protection" is so true. The illusion of safety is almost more of a risk than not having safety controls at all. I get to drive 6 middle schoolers to school every day and I guarantee you at least half of them know how to bypass the majority of parental controls for devices.

Given that state and federal laws are going to be such a hodgepodge, parents absolutely need to be paying attention and doing everything in their power to ensure their kids are using AI appropriately.
